Paintless Dent Repair North Richland Hills
North Richland Hills saw real damage in the August 26 storm. We push hail dents out without filler or repaint, pick up along the Loop 820 corridor, and the inspection is free.
THE WATAUGA AND NORTH RICHLAND HILLS CORRIDOR ON AUGUST 26.
On the evening of August 26, 2026, a severe storm tracked northwest to southeast from Wise County through Denton County and into northeast Tarrant County, producing damaging straight-line winds and hail up to 1.6 inches. The heaviest reports came from the Justin, Ponder, Northlake, Argyle, Roanoke, Haslet, Keller, and Southlake corridor. Highland Village, Lantana, Flower Mound, Watauga, and North Richland Hills saw lighter but real damage.
Watauga and North Richland Hills share a border and effectively share a storm history — what hits one almost always hits the other, and the August 26 reports treated them as one corridor. Damage on this side of the swath is lighter than what Keller and Southlake absorbed a few miles north, but it is genuine, and lighter damage is the kind that gets written off as nothing and then reappears on a trade-in appraisal two years later.
MID-AGE HOUSING, CARPORTS, AND NOT MUCH ELSE.
North Richland Hills is largely a product of the 1970s through the 1990s, and the parking reflects that era. Neighborhoods around Smithfield, Holiday Heights, Meadow Lakes, and the Richland Hills border have single- and two-car attached garages sized for the vehicles of the time, plus a large share of homes with carport-only parking. A carport keeps sun and rain off a car; it does nothing for hail that arrives at an angle behind straight-line wind, which is exactly what happened on August 26. Carport vehicles in NRH are showing damage on hoods and on the exposed side panels.
The traffic pattern adds to it. I-820 and Loop 820 wrap the south and west sides of the city, SH-26 / Grapevine Highway cuts diagonally across it toward Grapevine, and Rufe Snow Drive and Davis Boulevard carry the north–south load. The retail centers strung along those roads and along Mid-Cities Boulevard are all open surface lots, and the storm arrived during the evening while they were still busy. Home Town NRH and the Canal District add dense street parking with no cover at all.
WHAT THE REPAIR LOOKS LIKE.
We are at 4707 Lyndon B Johnson Fwy in Dallas, roughly 35 minutes from North Richland Hills on I-820 to SH-183 and I-635. You do not drive it. We collect the vehicle from your address off Rufe Snow or Davis, or from your workplace along the Loop 820 corridor, and bring it back detailed.
In the shop each panel is read under PDR lighting, then worked from behind the metal with rods while the high spots are tapped down from the front. Nothing is sanded, filled, or repainted, so the factory finish stays original — which matters most on the mid-age vehicles common here, where a full repaint can cost a meaningful fraction of the car's value. We handle the claim with your carrier directly, the inspection is free, and every repair is warrantied for as long as you own the vehicle.
We pick up across NRH: Home Town and the Canal District, Smithfield, Holiday Heights, Meadow Lakes, the Fossil Creek area, and the Watauga and Richland Hills borders.

Did the August 26, 2026 storm reach North Richland Hills?+
Yes. The storm on the evening of August 26, 2026 tracked northwest to southeast from Wise County through Denton County and into northeast Tarrant County with damaging straight-line winds and hail up to 1.6 inches. The heaviest reports came from the Justin, Ponder, Northlake, Argyle, Roanoke, Haslet, Keller, and Southlake corridor, while Highland Village, Lantana, Flower Mound, Watauga, and North Richland Hills saw lighter but real damage.
My car was under a carport — could it still be damaged?+
Very possibly. A carport stops vertical rain, but straight-line wind drives hail in at an angle, so hoods and the exposed side of the vehicle can still take dents. Carport-parked cars in NRH are a common inspection for us after this storm, and the inspection is free.
How long does hail damage repair take?+
Most North Richland Hills vehicles take 2 to 5 days depending on dent count and severity, and lighter damage on one or two panels is often same-day. Paintless dent repair skips sanding, filler, and paint drying time.
Can all hail damage be fixed with paintless dent repair?+
Most of it can, as long as the paint is intact and the metal is not overly stretched. Cracked paint or a sharp crease may still need conventional repair. We inspect first and give you a straight answer panel by panel.
Will a hail claim raise my insurance rates?+
Hail is a comprehensive claim rather than an at-fault claim, so in most cases it does not affect rates the way a collision would. Carriers writing in Tarrant County differ, so confirm with your insurer.
Does paintless dent repair hurt my resale value?+
No — it protects it. Your original factory paint is never touched, so there is no repaint, no color mismatch, and no repair history on the panel.
How much does hail repair cost in North Richland Hills?+
It depends on the number of dents, their size, and which panels took the hit. Every inspection is free and you get a clear number before any work begins.
What parts of North Richland Hills do you serve?+
All of North Richland Hills — Home Town and the Canal District, Smithfield, Holiday Heights, Meadow Lakes, and the Fossil Creek area — plus the neighboring Watauga and Richland Hills communities along I-820, SH-26, and Rufe Snow Drive.
